Hutchison Quarries are pleased to advise the appointment of Alex Colvin as Quarry Manager, having commenced 11^th July with Hutchison Quarries. He assumed the role of SSE under the MSHQ Act as of 1^st August.

Alex comes with extensive experience in the Quarrying industry. He has previously worked in Quarry Management roles for a large national quarry business, and before that he ran his own quarry and concrete businesses in country Queensland. Prior to this, he cut his teeth in the industry having worked provided specialised maintenance and plant upgrades services across Australia. 

Ben Hutchison will be stepping away from the day-to-day operations of the Pink Gum Lane Quarry site. Ben will be assuming the role of Quarry Advisor supporting the quarry, undertaking various projects, and advising COLAS in quarry activities. We would like to thank Ben for his ongoing support of the Hutchison business, and look forward to working with him in the future. We certainly have an important and significant legacy to maintain!
