Hutchison Quarries was formed in July 2004 after the purchase of an existing local business. The quarry was a small supplier of products to the Warwick shire council and some private contractors. Since this time we have grown to supply and deliver to major companies for landscaping, road building, concrete production and construction.
Joining COLAS Australia Group in 2022, the vision and values that have made the business a leader in the Darling downs will continue, ensuring our products and services meet the individual needs of each customer.
Our Founder
Hutchison Quarries P/L was established in 2004 by Scott Hutchison, the late founder and director of the company for over 17 years. Scott was an astute visionary and someone who held high regard for quality & performance, honesty & integrity and strong leadership. It was these key elements that have been instilled within the company culture that makes Hutchison Quarries what it is today.
Scott was a highly reputable and well respected leader at Hutchison Quarries and within the local community. His generosity, integrity and passion for the industry were some of the attributes he displayed throughout his time with the company. All of Scott’s qualities, visions, beliefs and attributes will continue to be the core focus for the continuation of this successful business well into the future.
